Ellie Marcotte is a freelance multimedia artist and writer.

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Ellie knew she wanted to be an artist since, well, forever. With paint stains on nearly every piece of clothing and doodles in every book, Ellie quickly found a passion for visual art - and, eventually, writing - that she carried into adulthood. 

ellie graduated from the university of colorado at Boulder in 2021 with a B.a in fine arts and has since worked in athletic apparel design, public art, stage art, and independent film productions.​

Ellie has two Siberian cats, an impressive rock collection, a penchant for black coffee and straight whiskey, and a somewhat nihilistic sense of humor. Ellie is also a skier, a kombucha drinker, an animal lover, a heavy metal listener, a halfway-decent actor, and a great conversationalist.​​

Recently returning from a creative sabbatical, ellie is now offering freelance services.
